SUN, DEC 08 2019-theG&BJournal-Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina has lauded telecommunications giant Globacom for the opening of the network’s one stop customer service centre at the Jabi Lake Mall, saying the company has proven that it is reachable and ready to resolve customer complaints at anytime in any place.
“I have been with Globacom from the beginning and Globacom has proved to be reachable and that is very important to customer satisfaction,” he said in Abuja on Thursday at the commissioning of its the network,s one stop customer service centre at the Jabi Lake Mall in the Federal Capital territory.
Going down memory lane, Adesina recalled that Globacom made a grand entry into the telecoms sector in 2003 with its customer-friendly packages which “exploded the market”. He called on subscribers and Nigerians to keep the faith with the Glo brand.
Regional Manager, Secondary, North Central Region Mr. Kemi Kaka explained that the new Gloworld has swelled the growing number of Globacom’s customer touch points in the beautiful Federal Capital City, adding, “Our objective for this addition is to further enrich the mobile experience of our customers who are the core reason for our corporate existence.”
According to him, “Jabi is strategic as it is one of the busiest environments in the FCT where diverse segments of our customers congregate. This new service centre will be opened everyday of the week, thereby giving our numerous customers that visit the mall the ample opportunity of experiencing our quality customer service, even as they catch their fun. It is our desire to facilitate access to the users of our products and services, both young and old, rich and promising, which is why this new Gloworld shop remains unique in the FCT”
While reiterating its commitment to meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations, and bringing all services closer to them, the company assured its customers in the city that well-trained customer care staff will be on ground at the new outlet to provide first-class services and attend to customers’ complaints, even late into the evenings and on public holidays.
The commissioning was witnessed by important personalities including the General Manager ICT Division of NNPC, Alhaji Muhammed Usman, who represented Alhaji Danladi Inuwa, Group General Manager, Information Technology Division, NNPC, Abuja; Globacom’s trade partners, the media and subscribers.
Globacom has other outlets in the Abuja metropolis that are catering to the various needs of customers.
It also parades scores of experiential centres across the nation and only recently opened three new shops along the Lekki Peninsula in Lagos.
Aside from the Gloworld shops, the network also boasts of several Glo Zone outlets to complement its one stop shops. Glo Zones are managed by the company’s business partners across the country.
